✅ Eligibility & Entry Rules
- Open to all groups: public/private elementary, junior high, senior high, or combined bands (must be officially enrolled).
- Certification from the school principal/registrar required, with Student IDs or Learner Reference Numbers.
- One entry per school, unless separate campuses under different designations.
🎵 Combined Unit
- Drum & Lyre group + Marching ensemble (majorettes/color guard) = judged as one unit.
- Weighting:
- Drum & Lyre: 70%
- Lyre & March (visual/marching): 30%
🎭 Performance Duration
- Minimum: 7 minutes | Maximum: 12 minutes
- Time starts at first beat (excluding entry), ends at last beat/movement.
- Penalty: 2-point deduction per excess minute (or fraction).
🎏 Props & Equipment
- Allowed: Batons, flags, banners, pompoms.
- Prohibited: Mechanical, electronic, or motorized instruments (10-point deduction if violated).
🚫 Restrictions
- No deduction for dropped batons/flags.
- Coaches, school officials, or coordinators not allowed near judges during performances.
