Iligan Leads the Way in Creative and Sustainable Urban Design
As part of Design Week Philippines 2025, Iligan City will host a major hybrid forum titled “Design Blueprints for a Creative City: Architecture, Resilient Infrastructure, and Placemaking” on October 17, 2025, at 2 PM, live at the Digital Creatives Hub Iligan and online via Google Meet.
This forward-thinking event gathers local and national experts, students, industry partners, and creative professionals to discuss how design, sustainability, culture, and community spaces can shape inclusive, livable, and future-ready cities.
Participants will gain key insights into:
- Sustainable infrastructure design for resilient and adaptive cities
- Creative placemaking strategies that promote community engagement
- Collaborative urban development integrating architecture, environment, and social innovation

Organized by the Creative Industries Development Council Iligan (CDIIS), the forum calls on architects, urban planners, developers, environmental advocates, and students from diverse disciplines to collaborate toward a shared vision: transforming Iligan City into a model for sustainable and creative urban growth.
