ECOWEB Strengthens Social Enterprises with Training at Iligan Digital Creatives Hub
The Digital Creatives Hub in Iligan City, managed by the Center for Digital Iligan, Innovation & Sustainability (CDIIS), has become a hub of innovation once again as it hosted the three-day Product Development and Market Linkaging Training for social enterprises.
Organized by Ecosystems Work for Essential Benefits (ECOWEB), Inc., the training was conducted in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Lanao del Norte. The sessions were facilitated by DTI Trade Industry Specialist Ms. Trisha Jean Tan-Reble, who shared insights on product branding, design strategies, and establishing stronger market connections.
Iligan Hub as a Platform for Empowering Social Enterprises
The activity aimed to equip local social enterprises with practical knowledge to help them:
- Enhance Product Development – refine products to meet competitive market standards.
- Strengthen Market Linkages – connect with wider networks for sustainable growth.
- Promote Local Innovation – empower Iligan-based entrepreneurs through design and creativity.
- Foster Inclusive Opportunities – ensure small and community-based enterprises thrive in today’s economy.
By utilizing the Digital Creatives Hub, Iligan’s growing ecosystem of innovators and entrepreneurs gains access to a space that supports collaboration, learning, and creativity—aligning with the city’s vision of becoming a center for digital innovation in Northern Mindanao.
Driving Local Innovation Forward
This initiative highlights the synergy between government agencies, NGOs, and local creative spaces in advancing the capacity of social enterprises. For Iligan entrepreneurs, such training opens the door to more sustainable business ventures while contributing to the city’s digital and creative economy.
