Mindanao Art 2025 Launches in Davao City with Grand Showcase of Talent
Mindanao Art 2025 officially opened on September 21 at SM Lanang Premier in Davao City, featuring more than 1,000 artworks from 33 artist groups and galleries across the country. The exhibit highlights the rich creativity of both seasoned and emerging artists, representing all six regions of Mindanao.
Iligan and Mindanao Artists Take the Spotlight
Now on its seventh year, Mindanao Art has grown into the premier annual art fair of the region, with this year’s theme, “Leaping Beyond,” symbolizing the evolving and boundary-pushing spirit of contemporary Mindanaoan art.
Visitors can look forward to:
- Over 1,000 artworks covering painting, sculpture, and mixed media from across Mindanao.
- 33 artist groups and galleries showcasing both established names and promising new talents.
- Talks and discussions led by leading figures from different creative fields, offering deeper insight into the regional art scene.
The event runs until October 1, giving art enthusiasts and the public an opportunity to experience the diversity of Mindanao’s creative voices.
Organized by Lawig Diwa Inc., Mindanao Art 2025 is presented in partnership with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and the National Committee on Art Galleries, further strengthening its role as a cultural milestone.
