Iligan Power Upgrade Scheduled for October 9–10, 2025

The Iligan Light & Power, Inc. (ILPI) has released an advisory for scheduled power interruptions taking place on Thursday and Friday, October 9–10, 2025, as part of ongoing infrastructure maintenance and modernization efforts in Iligan City.

The power interruptions are intended to facilitate the replacement of aging distribution transformers, pole installations, and secondary line reconductoring, all critical steps toward ensuring more stable and efficient power distribution in the affected areas.

Thursday, October 9, 2025 | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (6 hours)

  • Area: Part of Tipanoy (Prk. 5 & PNP Headquarters)
  • Reason: Replacement of distribution transformer and secondary line reconductoring

Friday, October 10, 2025 | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (6 hours)

  • Area: Part of Pala-o (Prk. 17, Doña Juana & Lluch Subdivisions)
  • Reason: Pole installation and line reconductoring

Friday, October 10, 2025 | 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (3 hours)

  • Area:
    • Part of Pala-o: Prk. 9, Sto. Niño Village, San Miguel Village, Medical Hospital, & IMCC
    • Part of Del Carmen: San Miguel, Kabulihan, BIR & COA
  • Reason: Replacement of distribution transformer

Friday, October 10, 2025 | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (6 hours)

  • Area: Part of Pala-o (Prk. 13, Sto. Niño)
  • Reason: Replacement of distribution transformer and secondary line reconductoring

ILPI assures customers that every effort will be made to restore electricity as scheduled. However, power may be restored earlier or later than the announced time depending on on-site conditions and unforeseen circumstances.
