NGCP Opens Security Lead Specialist Post in Bicol to Protect Transmission Backbone

NGCP is seeking a proactive and highly skilled Security Lead Specialist to help safeguard the country’s transmission backbone through an assignment in District 3 – Bicol.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and operationalization of an effective and efficient physical protection system within the district, substation, and related facilities where assigned. The role requires adherence to the corporate security plan, policies, and programs and involves making decisions within the approved protocol of work under the guidance of the Security Manager.

Key Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants for the Security Lead Specialist – Bicol role must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Certified Security Professional and Licensed Security Officer
  • At least five (5) years of relevant work experience preferred
  • Registered firearm owner with valid License to Own and Possess Firearms (LTOPF) and Permit to Carry Firearm Outside of Residence (PTCFOR)
  • Holder of a valid License to Exercise Security Profession (LESP)

Additional conditions apply:

  • For former AFP/PNP personnel: Must have served as a military officer for a minimum of seven (7) continuous years and be honorably discharged or retired.
  • For civilian applicants: Must meet all of the above listed qualifications.
