Iligan Strengthens Safety Measures for Diyandi Festival 2025
In preparation for the major and religious events of the Diyandi Festival 2025, the City Government of Iligan reminds the public of the strict enforcement of City Ordinance No. 23-7402, which outlines items prohibited in large gatherings. This measure aims to ensure safety, security, and smooth crowd management throughout the festival.

Prohibited Items During Diyandi Festival Major Events:
- Hats (Kalo)
- Backpacks (Bagpack)
- Jackets (Jacket)
- Weapons (Mga armas)
- Alcoholic beverages (Ilimnon nga makahubog)
These guidelines will be implemented during the following highlight events:
- September 26, 2025 – Silent Drill Competition, Anahaw Amphitheater
- September 27, 2025 – Kasadya sa Diyandi Street Dancing, Anahaw Amphitheater
- September 28, 2025 – Bamboo Free Concert, Anahaw Amphitheater
- September 29, 2025 – Prosisyon ni San Miguel, St. Michael’s Cathedral
In addition, residents and festival-goers are urged to report suspicious individuals, abandoned baggage, terrorist activities, recruitment efforts, and bomb jokes through the ICPO Hotline 911. Authorities encourage public cooperation in monitoring surroundings and working together with law enforcement to maintain a safe environment.
