2026 DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarships Now Open for Aspiring Scientists and Engineers
The Department of Science and Technology – Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) has officially opened its 2026 Undergraduate Scholarship Program, providing Filipino students, including those from Iligan, the opportunity to pursue science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) degrees. The online application portal is accessible beginning October 20, 2025, with the deadline for submissions set on November 21, 2025.
Empowering Iligan Youth Through Science and Technology Education
The DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship Program aims to develop a new generation of Filipino scientists and innovators, stimulating the pursuit of careers in science and technology to drive national progress. The program provides qualified students with full financial support, ensuring access to quality STEM education.
Applicants must prepare and submit the following key requirements:
- Certificate of Good Moral Character and Certificate of Good Health (Forms C & D)
- Principal’s Certification (E1–E4) for STEM, Non-STEM, homeschool, or ALS students
- Certificate of Residency (Form F) and Parent’s Certification (Form G)
- Income documents such as 2024 ITR, BIR Form 1701, or Certificate of Indigency
- Other standard identification documents including birth certificate and passport-size photo

- Start of Online Application: October 20, 2025
- Deadline of Application: November 21, 2025
- Qualifying Examination: February 21–22, 2026
